Welcome to VivaDiva, the web log for the more mature woman, about life, death and all the awkward bits in between!

Aimed at women over 40, and exclusively Irish, VivaDiva is brought to you by sisters Aine and Grainne who cover a myriad of topics in their daily blogs on the messy, fiddly business of living.  Celebrating all that’s great about living the second half of life (older, wiser, freer and hopefully more solvent!), relishing new experiences and rantin ‘n bitchin about the bad stuff!

So whether it’s a little empathy you’re looking for in dealing with adult kids that have arrived back to live just before you got around to changing the door locks, or understanding in dealing with sick and cranky elderly parents, sympathy as the health problems begin to kick in, a pat on the back for facing new challenges, or a whinge at people who do us a disservice (everyone from clothing designers to bar staff who ignore us) slight us, annoy, irritate, amuse, entertain us, we’re here to cover it all.
